Mrs. <br /> Botsford contributed to the handbook and A her's Path was mentioned as a good example of a"friendly � <br /> 406". A copy was provided to all members. <br /> There is no meeting in August.The next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 11, 2008 � <br /> at 530 PM at the Asherjs Path site. We now have two vacancies, <br /> with one expected to be filled by August I and the other by the end of August. we will have another <br /> vacancy come August I that we will do our best to fill by September I <br /> Breezy Acres/705: We had all rents paid in full at Breezy Acres and one tenant has vacated. This unit <br /> will require some flooring to be replaced, but we hope to have it rented by the end of August. All <br /> inspections have been done. <br /> Asher' Path: We are one vacancy, which we are in the process of trying to fill. I did not have my <br /> usual monthly coffee due to my medical leave, but will have one in August. I had a meeting with the <br /> officers of the newly formed Resident Association to negotiate an agreement for interaction between the <br /> association and myself. We are still working ing on this. As usual, the monthly newsletter was sent out to all <br /> residents. Annual recertifications are being finished up. All annual inspections were done; The side door <br /> access work, handicapped ramping, and rail work is done. Automatic doom are in the process of being <br /> installed on the front and both side doors. Starting,duly 1, my Asher"s Path salary is being paid through <br /> the housing authority payroll, with Peabody Properties reimbursing the housing authority'on a monthly <br /> basis Oust like we are doing for Vincents salary for Asher's Path). <br /> Misc.: <br /> The monthly 1i P AHVP/DISH reports were submitted. <br /> & The monthly Energy Consumption reports were submitted. <br /> attended the following meetings: SHADO <br /> * I attended a meeting with DHCD, the engineer, and the plumber for the Boiler Replacement <br /> project at Breezy Acres. contracts have been signed, the boilers order, and work will start in a <br /> couple weeks. <br /> * I attended the Selectmenfs meeting on July 21 to get their sign fl'on our chapter 689 funding <br /> for the special reeds lousing that will be part of our Breezy Acres expansion project. <br /> • our website has been updated <br /> * I received a written resignation from charlotte Carron, which I forwarded to the Town-Clerk <br /> and copied to the Town Manager. <br /> e I've been working on updating our policies and procedures woks (getting ready for review <br /> later by MHFA in order to become certified for LIHTc program) <br /> -3 - <br />
