A quorum was declared with the <br /> following members present: Jill Allen, Richard Halpern, Francis Laporte and David Marsch. Also in <br /> attendance: Leila Botsford, Executive Director/Board Secretary, Consultants Marc Slotnick and Toby <br /> Kramer,mer, architect Chris Raber, and Fran Delgado and Paul McLaughlin, Asher"s Path residents. <br /> The Chairperson asked if there was any public comment and there was .none. <br /> Mr. Laporte asked that a moment t of silence be held to recognize those who gave thein lives seven years <br /> ago today. A moment of silence was recognized, <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes for the regular meeting held on July 31, 2008 were presented. A motion was made by Mse <br /> Allen and se onded by Mr. Laporte to accept the minutes as piing. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> TREASUREWS REPORT: <br /> Bud et to Actual and Narrative: ms. Botsford provided a treasurers report induding the bank account <br /> report and the Budget to Actual Report, prepared by the fee-accountant, which represents through the <br /> Ist month of the fiscal year. She reviewed the budget to actual and provided an explanation for <br /> variances. <br /> Accounts Payables: ids. Botsford presented the warrants for the 4001 account, MRVP account, and <br /> Section B account were presented to the board for review and signatures. Account Payables were: <br /> $31,559.31for 4001, $8,548.00 for Section B, and $20,465.00 for MRVP. <br /> Rent Delia uencies: We have all September rents paid in full at Horneyer Village. We have one resident <br /> at Breezy Acres who has not paid. A fourteen-day notice to quit was issued. She has contacted me and <br /> hopes to have balance paid in full before 14 days is up. Two people have not paid their rent at Asher <br /> Patti. One is in the hospital and then other I have been in contact with. Both rents should be paid by <br /> Monday. <br /> A motion was made by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Ms.Allen to accept the treasurerl's report <br /> ais presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> E Ec T1vE I I EcTOWS REPORT: <br /> Ms. Botsford remarked that she had railed her reports to the board for the month of August and it is <br /> attached to these minutes as Attachment A, <br /> T1s. Botsfordp rovided an additional brief written report, which was discussed. The report was as follows: <br /> I attended the CPA Committee meeting Tuesday night to give them an update on the Breezy <br /> Acres Expansion project. <br /> • SHADO will be meeting this month at Asher's Path. I've arranged for Valerie Foster(Harwich)to <br /> o a presentation on her success in getting CPA funding for rental assistance programs* <br />
