After a short discussion, a motion was made by Ms.Allen and <br /> se orrded by Mr. Hallpem to adopt the updated R I Policies&Procedures are presented, <br /> The motion was adopted. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS: <br /> cpA (Communitvpreservation AcAt tAaLellkepQrt from liaison: lir. Halpern gave a brief update. <br /> ComMUNICATIONSICORRESPONDENCE: Ids. Botsford provided the board with a copies of pertinent <br /> correspondence, already discussed. <br /> Masi Botsford informed the board that the fiscal year 2009 budget will need to be voted on at the next <br /> meeting, so it's very important to get a quorum. <br /> The next regutar meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October g, 2008 at 5:30 PM at the Ho ey r <br /> Village/Main office site. A motion was made by Mir, Laporte and seconded by s,,* Allen to <br /> adjourn. The motion carried. The other vacancy is a wheel-chair accessible unit <br /> that is going to require extensive renovations. I've written to DHCD (cop of letter previously forwarded to <br /> you) regarding our need for some financial relief due to all of the turnovers. III keep you posted. As <br /> usual, the monthly newsletter was sent out to all residents. <br /> ffM=A�� : we had all rents paid in full at Breezy Acres and one vacancy. This unit has <br /> required extensive renovations and should be ready to rent by the end of August. I am in the process of <br /> tenant selection. <br /> Asher Path: We have one vacancy, which we are in the proeess of trying to fill by the end of August. <br /> We have two vacancies expected in September, which i am starting to work on filling. As usual, the <br /> monthly newsletter was sent out to all residents. Annual F ecerti cations are finished. All doors are <br /> working great, Starting July 1, my Asher*s Path salary is being paid through the housing authority payroll; <br /> with Peabody Properties reimbursing the housing authority on a monthly basis Oust like we are doing for <br /> Vincent's salary for A her's Path) however here is a problem with thein reimbursing us monthly at the full <br /> rate needed. I'm in the process of arranging a meeting between there, our fee accountant Torn ,boy and <br /> myself. I'll keep you posted. We had a" ding incident's at Asher's Path when a resident turned the <br /> burner on without anything in the part. There was no fire and no property damage but quite a bit o <br /> smoke. Vincent and I both responded to the incident. A company was hired to come in and do some air- <br /> purification. All recertE ications have been done. <br /> -3- <br />
