We now havejest the one <br /> vacancy -the wheel-chair accessible unit that is going to require extensive renovations. DHCD has <br /> released subsidy and the work to this unit is being done. I'm in the process of selecting a tenant for this <br /> unit and hope to have it rented by the end of October. III keep you posted. As usual, the monthly <br /> newsletter was sent out to all residents. <br /> Breen(Acres/705,d We had all rents paid in full at Breezy Acres, except for one resident who is making <br /> arrangements to pay a balance due. we still have one vacancy that is in the process of rehab. We have one vacancy, which should be filled <br /> by mid-October. As usual, the monthly newsletter was sent out to all residents, I had ray monthly"First <br /> Mondays Meeting."with residents. There was a birthday party and bingo as well. <br /> Our fee accountant Torn Jay and I met with Peabody Properties to review the accounting procedures and <br /> budget so that we can start the process for taking over next July 1. The meeting went well and I will <br /> update you more later. <br /> Misc.: <br /> The monthly R P AHI P D 1H reports were submitted. <br /> • The monthly Energy Consumption reports were submitted. <br /> I attended the following meetings: SMEDA (Southeastern Dass Executive Directors <br /> Association) and SHADO (Small Housing Authority Director's Organization) <br /> I will be attending MassHousing LIHTC training in October. <br /> FYI: I plan on taping one week vacation at the end of October. Peabody Properties will <br /> arrange for coverage at Asher's Path. <br /> • Our CPA application for funding for the Breezy Acres expansion was delivered to town hall on <br /> September 29. <br /> I did a presentation in Harwich the Board of Directors at Pine Oaks. They are very <br /> interested in the process of how Ashers Path was developed and requested my input as they <br /> move forar . <br /> I met with the IFAS auditor to conduct an exit interview regarding the results of that audit. <br /> There was one error in tax withholding for one payment made. It has been corrected and <br /> there were no other findings or penalties. <br /> AHVP Vouchers: We have 2 AHVP vouchers. <br /> - - <br />
