A quorum was declared with the <br /> following members present: David Harsch, Sill Allen and Fran Laporte. Richard Halpern was excused. <br /> Also in attendance: Leila Botsford, executive Director/Board Secretary, and Ashees Path residents Mary <br /> 3udd, Sr. Barbara Sullivan, and Sr. Helen O Leary. <br /> The chair asked if there was any public comment. Sr. Sullivan stated that she would just life to announce <br /> that a Thanksgiving dinner is being prepared by one of the residents for other residents that will be in the <br /> building that day with nowhere to go. They expect about 1.0 residents. <br /> SE RETARr REPORT: <br /> Minutes for the regular meeting held on October 9,, 2008 were presented. A motion was made by els. <br /> Allem and seconded by Mr. Laporte to accept the minutes as printed. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative:: 1rs. Botsford provided a treasurer's report including the ban .ac ount <br /> report and the Budget to Actual Deport,,prepared by the fee-accountant, which represents through the <br /> fourth month of,the fiscal year. She reviewed the budget to actual-and provided ars explanation for <br /> variances. <br /> Accounts Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for the 4001 account, MRVP account, and <br /> Section B account were presented to the board for review and signatures. Accounts payables were: <br /> $17,768.02for 4001, $7,381.00 for Section 8. and $12,864.00 for M 1 P. <br /> Rent Delinquencies_: Mrs. Botsford stated that we have all rents paid in full at Horneyer Village and <br /> Asher's Path. we have one resident at Breezy Acres who has still not paid in full and a fourteen-day <br /> notice to quit was issued. Two other residents have given notice to move. This is unprecedented turn- <br /> over for our family housing. Mrs. Botsford stated that she does have a resident selected for the unit that <br /> is currently vacant, and she has been offered the unit(has until next week to accept or decline). A <br /> notion was made by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Ms.Arlen to accept the treasurer's report <br /> as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXEC 71VE DIRECT W REPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford remarked that she had mailed her report to the board for the months October and it is <br /> %,attached to these minutes as Attachment A. <br /> Ms. Botsford provided an additional brief written report, which was discussed. The report was as follows: <br /> •_ <br /> We advertised for the part-tune custodian/groundskeeper position and received 61 applications. <br /> Vincent and 1 have narrowed it down to 7 who we will be interviewing next week. <br /> I did the annual Affirmative Action Analysis and a copy of the report is in your f lder . <br /> • 1 will b6 meeting with the Comm' unity-Preservation Act Committee next Tuesday night,, along-W th <br /> the consultants, to present our proposal for funding the Breezy Acres Expansion Project <br />
