Mimi Joseph, a guest, complained that she had, lost another foot of frontage due
to the wale from large boats.
All agreed that there were more large boats driving recklessly on the lake this year. Many laws are being
ignored. mike Richardson suggested that we ask Perry Ellis for a list of tickets written for violations
each month. It appears that there is less coverage from the Harbormaster, who mainly patrols to see that
jet skis are off the lake at 7 PM. It is not known if the assistant harbormasters are trained write tickets.
Conclusions: The lake level remains 55.5. we will seely information on violations from the Harbormaster.
: [ ► eca-topic 21 PersondlWatercraft: eidet :
Discussion: On June 26th, The Cape Cod Tines reported two teen aged boys were seriously injured on
personal waterera s, when they ran head-on into each other at 630 PM the previous day. According to a
witness, they were playing 4'chicken"near the Sandwich beach area. Fortunately, a boater saw the
accident and was able to rescue the boys whose serious injuries prevented them from swimming. One was
airlifted to a Boston Hospital and one seat to Falmouth Hospital.
Conclusions: Two teen alters were injured due to their reckless driving of PWCs. More injuries are
expected due to lack of enforcement of rules.
