Nichols <br /> Attendees: Members: William,Marsters, William Taylor, Hans Fritschi,,Barbara Nichols <br /> Michael Richardson, Liaison <br /> Guests: Edward Baker, NUmi Joseph <br /> The minutes of the June 22, 20 10 meeting were accepted as written. <br /> Agenda topics <br /> [Agenda' is 1] Dake level <br /> Discussion: Both measurements in Jul were at 55.6 f , above sea level with 10 <br /> - � , and.9.5 inches of water <br /> flowing over the boards. The level has been above 55.5 since last st 15"", nearly a year. <br /> Barbara spoke with Mr. Manus on July 22, and the lock without A key,was still on the cage over the dans. <br /> Barbara emailed him again this morning, but had not checked her email again before the meeting. Barbara <br /> mentioned that old geologic naps showed the lake level at 55 ft. above sea.level. <br /> FIs Joseph was concerned about the wake caused by large boats that was causing further erosion of her <br /> shoreline. She called Barbara earlier this month about the erosion and was referred to Mr. Manus in <br /> Conservation. <br /> Ed Baker mentioned that the Div. of Maxine Fisheries is involved with the town on regulating the lake <br /> level for the herring. <br /> Conclusions: The lake remains at 55.6 Int. above sea level and shoreline erosion continues. <br /> -[Agenda topic 21 Fall Newsletter <br /> Discussion: The completed parts of the newsletterwere reviewed. Barbara brought articles on <br /> waterskiing and swimmer's itch tole added. It was suggested to add an article on how the 55.5 Vt <br /> aximurn level of l ashpee Wkeb y Pond was derived. Bill T asters mentioned that this was in Horsley <br /> and'mitten's report, of which he had a copy, but there is also one at Town Hall as the Town paid for the <br /> study. <br /> Conclusions: The newsletter will be delivered by email and posted on the Town web site with <br /> about 2 <br /> copies left at Town Hall for distribution. <br />
