R9 . <br /> ena topic 1] Lake level <br /> Discussion; The lake measurements in September were 55.5 and 55.55 ft. above sea level with 8.25 and <br /> . 5 inches of water flo�r�g over the boards. Bill Mar tears mentioned that large rocks had fallen e off the <br /> into the sluiceway} It was suggested we ask DPW to remove' there when they clean out ekeess sand in <br /> the sprig. <br /> Barbara met with Drew McManus in Conservation September 28h and showed hien the US Geological <br /> Survey naps of 1975 which listed Ma hpee and wal eby Ponds at'55 ft. above sea level, and also the <br /> graph showing water levels in the ponds since 2004 showing the winter spikes of lake level due to <br /> increased precipitation} She requested that boards be removed to lower the lake level after the herring fry <br /> had finished their exodus from the lake,e, which Perry Ellis previously stated occurred m late October} Mr. <br /> McManus agreed to this. The discussion continued as to the time of the Jast Mate inspection of the darn <br /> area, which had been done within the year. The State felt the structure was too small for the size of the <br /> lakes,but .McManus stated there were no ids to help rebuild it coir c l . <br /> Conclusions; The-late continues above the target level, and a half foot above the 1957 historic level. <br /> Conservation agreed to letter control water level during increased winter precipitation, and help prevent <br /> further erosion} <br />
