Read for an update on reported violations. Lt. bead responded that he had <br /> finished his report, but Chief Collins had to approve it before it Was forwarded to this committee. <br /> Barbara also asked fit. Read if the balance of the gift check received to increase harbor,master hours on the <br /> ponds would be carried over to 2011. He stated it would. Members suggested asking how much money <br /> remained in this.find. <br /> Conclusions: The updated violation list from Lt. Read is pending. Members would like to know the <br /> balance in the fund for next year. <br /> [Agenda.topic 3] Summer Newslett& . <br /> Discussion: Barbara emailed Joyce Mason the newsletter in late August and she wanted the waterskiing <br /> article rewritten. Barbara rewrote the article and also included an article on mooring inspections as <br /> ffi <br /> reported by Lt. Read at our last meeting. With hese changes, Joyce approved the newsletter on Sept. 2 . <br /> She sent it to David to be posted on the Toga web site. It was posted under the link"Wakby fond <br /> Newsletter",, instead of"Mashpee Wakeby Fonds Newsletter",' as previously requested.-Email notices of <br /> the posting were seat out to people who had scat us their email addresses. The copy of the master for the <br /> print version was received tonight, and Barbara will take it to be copied and see that some copies are put <br /> in the rack by the entrance to the Town Hall: <br /> Conclusions: The Summer Newsletter is posted on the Ton web site. The print copy for the Tom Tull <br /> rack is pending. <br /> [Agenda topie ] Bake Speed Limit <br /> Discussion; Barbara wrote a letter to Representatives Ferry and Patrick supporting the letter written by <br /> MEC members which requested the lake speed limit be reduced from 45 NTH to 30 mph. No response <br /> had been received by this meeting. <br /> Conclusions: This committee supported NEC's efforts to lover the speed limit in Mashpee & W keby. <br /> [Agenda topic ].deters Pond Protection <br /> Discussion: Barbara noted that a CCT editorial praised a Betty Bourgault of Sandwich, who is trying to <br /> nn a volunteer group to better rnoni*tor and protect Peters Pond in.Forestdale.
