Nichols <br /> Attendees: Members: George Bingham III, William Taylor, Barbara Nichols, <br /> Guests: <br /> The minutes of the October 2 , 2011 meeting were accepted as written, after a motion by George and <br /> second by Wm.Taylor. d t -. , __.•_ .'� <br /> Agend <br /> r_[ - o i I]:tak6 level <br /> LIE <br /> Discussion: Dake measurements were done on November 1 st and 14th by Barbara and Debi. The levels <br /> were at 55.6 and 55.4 ft. above sea level with 15 and 13 inches of water going over the boards. <br /> The October northeaster washed a significant amount of sand through the fish moray. There 'is now 8.5 <br /> inches of water in the strearn and 5 inches of sand. There was a noticeable increase in dead mussel shells <br /> also. <br /> David T ulin, an engineer doing work for the Town of Sandwich ln designing plans for something above <br /> the high water mark in Wakeby Pond contacted this committee for our measurements of the lake. Barbara <br /> emailed several years of measurements and referred David to Horsley and Witten, the engineering firm <br /> who installed the gauge in the outflow area. <br /> Conclusions; The lake level remains steady. It Ys not known what the Town of Sandwich flans to build on <br /> the shore of Wakeby Pond <br /> [Agenda topic 2] - <br /> Discussion: Andrew Gottlieb is the newest member of our committee, appointed by the Selectmen <br /> November 17th, He was unable to make this meeting due to work. <br /> Conclusions: Barbara will contact Amdrew to see if he has signed the book at town Hall. <br />
