Town of Mashpee <br /> Mashpee Public Library <br /> Library Expansion Building Committee <br /> Subcommittee <br /> Interviews <br /> Conducted at Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North, <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts in Conference Room #2, on Monday, October <br /> 18, 1999 . The Town Administrator, Robert whritenour presided. <br /> Subcommittee Members present: Ernest Cole, Jr. ; Edward <br /> DeFoe; Gary Eynatian; and Grace Talmage. <br /> Also present: Helene DeFoe, Library Director; and Joyce <br /> Mason, Assistant Town Administrator. <br /> 12 :12 p.m. - Gaffney Architects, Inca <br /> Robert H. Therrien, A. I .A. , Registered Architect; and Peter <br /> Anderson, ADA Coordinator. <br /> Mr. Whritenour welcomed Mr. Therrien and informed him of the <br /> status of the project, that being the need for a feasibility <br /> study in order to develop a full program for a library renovation <br /> and addition. Gaffney Architects having provided the existing <br /> library building, Mr. Whritenour explained the growth of the Town <br /> is such that an addition is warranted in order to accommodate the <br /> demands. <br /> Mr. Whritenour explained the status of the project is the <br /> current finalist interview process, of which there are three <br /> candidates, the Committee will deliberate upon conclusion of the <br /> interviews and submit a recommendation to the Board of Selectmen <br /> in rank order. He acknowledged the Members of the Library <br /> i Building Sub-Committee and Mrs . Mason, the Construction <br /> Procurement Specialist for the Town, as well as the Library <br /> Director, Helene DeFoe. <br /> Mr. Whritenour then recognized Mr. Therrien who stated he is <br /> President of Gaffney Architects. Mr. Therrien also stated he has <br /> owned the firm since 1985 . He then introduced Peter Anderson, <br /> ADA Coordinator. <br /> Mr. Therrien explained he had intended to include some of <br /> his firms consultants in the interview proceedings, but that <br /> they were not available due to prior commitments . <br /> Mr. Therrien made reference to the questionnaire received <br /> from the Committee, stating his interest in responding to it. <br /> He also made reference to his earlier submission and suggested <br /> the Committee consider reviewing this material . <br /> Mr. Therrien explained his firm is interested in working <br />
