The article needs <br /> to be submitted tj the 2°4 Monday in Tull in order to be put on the October <br /> agenda. <br />� State Funding: <br /> Kevin Connolly asKs Toice, Mason the general consensus the Selectmen have on <br /> the letter be, sent them regarding the state funding issue. Ms. Mason explains <br /> that the Seloctmon are generally opposed to the state funding due to all the <br /> building requirements we must meet in order to get the funding. They feel it will <br /> put a big price tag on the library to meet all of the requirements the state would <br /> impose. Mr. Connally addresses the concern that the, Town may criticize the <br /> project for not using state funding and wants to be sure these avenues have <br /> been thoroughly thought through and pursued if necessary. The board and Ms. <br /> Mason agree that checKing into the state roqu"srements for comparison once the <br /> building taxes an some dimension is a good idea. <br />� 7oya Mason tells the board that the Selectmen would lir-o to be Kept in the loop <br /> as much as possible. She tells the board they would lirce to see all options <br /> pursued - renovating and new construction - before they can maze in informed <br /> decision.
