There wilI be a gathering next Wednesday, June g at 5:15 PIVI in <br /> the parish hall of Christ the ling Church of members of the library staff, library building committee, <br /> trustees and other"friends" of the Mash Library. This will be an opportunity for the many facets of the <br /> library family to 'meet, share information and discuss the ongoing effort to provide ll ashpee with the best <br /> possible library services and building. Refreshments will be served. An invitation will be extended to <br /> Joyce Mason as well as Stewart Roberts its to attend. <br /> Melinda Gallant commented that in runt conversations with Monsignor To ti, he expressed his greet <br /> support of the project. He remarked that his campaign has gone a little bit slow this year, but that once <br /> we receive word about the state funding, he would both professionally and personally be supporting the <br /> library. He also stated that should the need arise, a can use the parish hall for funcUons at any time, <br /> free of charge, as long a it is available. <br /> Construction Foundation Grants—No Report <br /> Torn O'Neill was unable to attend the meeting, <br /> Planning Fdundation Graaf—.Jane Dolan <br /> Jane Dolan reported that she is almost there with completion of the application for the Kresge grant. She <br /> has received the letters required, and some resume information from Stewart Roberts on his consultants. <br /> The required audit for the Friends finances was completed today. Jane will be proofreading the actual <br /> application itself to ensure all the numbers are correct. Jane plans to put the application in the mail by <br /> next Tuesday, June , well in advance of the July to grant announcement date. She reiterated that the <br /> application is asking for$95,000, to be used toward planning costs-for the green building initiative. <br /> Geothermal system—Steve Cook <br /> In Steve's absence, Jane reported that Steve is working on getting three quotes from contractors that <br /> work with geothermal sytems. <br /> The next scheduled meeting of the Library Building Committee was clanged from Tuesday, ,duly 12th to <br /> Wednesday, July 13th, 2005, at 7,00 PIIII at the Ma tepee Public Library. <br /> As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Ina .
