MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT(SP-87-08-084)MODIFICATION <br /> P.A. Landers,Inc. <br /> 628 Main Street(Map 13 Parcel 47) <br /> Mashpee,MA 02649 <br /> SP-2017-57 <br /> Mr.Landers said they also proposed a double yellow line from Route 130 down.the <br /> middle of the road with a stop line to the right hand turn at the exit of the property.He also <br /> proposed a yield sign at the top of the ramp. The use of the garage is for storage by his <br /> employees only. He has made some improvements to the building in the front to bring it <br /> up to code and currently has eight building permits to comply with the requirements of the <br /> Town. <br /> The Board reviewed the site plan and had some concerns regarding the ramp and <br /> retaining walls. They would like to see the retaining walls be lowered for better visibility <br /> for vehicles. They also expressed concern about drainage onto Route 130. <br /> Mr. Landers concluded that there are no drainage issues and he will add a sign on <br /> the property that the parking is for P.A. Landers employees only. <br /> The Board read the DPW Director, Conservation, Board of Health,and Inspection <br /> Department comments into the record. <br /> There were no abutters present. <br /> In view of the foregoing, the Board determined the Petitioner met the criteria for a <br /> modification to the Special Permit. Upon motion duly made and seconded at the Public <br /> Hearings on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, the Zoning Board of Appeals voted <br /> unanimously to issue a modification to an existing Special Permit (SP-87-087084) for P.A. <br /> Landers to address the creation of a driveway/roadway on property located at 628 Main <br /> Street,for the purpose of allowing vehicle traffic from 608 Main Street to access Main Street <br /> (Rte. 130) through the 628 Main Street property, (Map 13 Parcel 47), Mashpee, MA. <br /> Referencing a plan dated 11/7 2017. Proposed Driveway Improvements, Scale: 1" = 50', <br /> 628 Main Street, Mashpee, MA. Conditions consisting of a sign that states "PA. Landers <br /> employees only", and that the retaining wall be lowered, and either a yield or stop sign to <br /> caution the vehicles at the top of the ramp. Also conditioned on all Town Department <br /> comments read into the record. <br /> 2 <br />
