TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> Zoning Board of Appeals <br /> Minutes <br /> Wednesday, December 9, 1998 <br /> The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting on Wednesday, December 9, 1998, at <br /> 7:30 P.M. at the Mashpee Town.Hall. Board Members present were Chairman Edward <br /> M. Govoni, Vice Chairman James E. Regan III, Board Member Robert G. Nelson and <br /> Associate Member Richard T. Guerrera. Associate Members Michael A. Makunas and <br /> James M. Dorgan were absent. Local Inspector Russell W. Wheeler was in attendance. <br /> Dennis E. & Sarah F. GorC ca—Request a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to vary the sideline setback requirements to allow for <br /> construction of an attached garage to property located in an R-3 zoning district at <br /> 20 Shipwreck Drive (Map 76 Block 55), Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and Robert G. Nelson <br /> Mr. Keith Vining of D& V Construction represented the applicants who propose to build <br /> a two-car attached garage. Mr. Vining informed the Board that the applicants recently <br /> purchased from the Clipper Ship Village Association a 20 foot-wide strip of land abutting <br /> their property. This is the planned location of the 24-foot X 26-foot garage. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Mr. Regan moved to grant the Variance of one foot, subject to criteria 1 —4 and findings 3 <br /> and 4. Mr. Nelson seconded the motion.
