Board of Appeals Minutes -December 9, 1998 4 <br /> Mr. Nelson moved to grant the Special Permit, subject to findings 1 -- 5. Mr. Guerrera <br /> seconded the motion. All agreed, <br /> Todd Sullivan—Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-20 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to demolish an existing structure, construct a three-bedroom dwelling and <br /> convert an existing cottage into a.storage shed on property located in an R-3 zoning <br /> district at 66 Red Brook Road (Map 110 Block 58A), Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and Robert G. Nelson, <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky represented the applicant and stated that the proposal is for the <br /> existing cottage to be used as a storage shed without water or septic facilities. The <br /> applicant plans to install a well on the property. The existing storage sited will be <br /> demolished after completion of the project, <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Mr. Nelson moved to grant the Special Permit, subject to criteria, findings 1,3,4,5,6 (it <br /> will be a vast improvement to the neighborhood) and on the condition that the storage <br /> shed will be demolished after completion of the project. <br /> Mr. Regan seconded the motion. All agreed. <br /> Edward & Debra McLaughlin —Request a Special Permit under Section 174-20 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to demolish an existing cottage and construct a <br /> three-bedroom home on property located in an R-5 zoning district at 177 Hooppole Road <br /> (Map 49 Block 212), Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> i <br /> Mr. Walter Schouler represented the applicants and stated that the proposed construction <br /> will be 100 feet away from the coastal bank. The Conservation Commission has <br /> approved the project. <br /> Mr. Govoni read a letter from abutters, John and Helen Smith, expressing support of the <br /> project.
