Board of Appeals Minutes-December 9, 1998 3 <br /> Mr. Nelson moved to grant the Special Permit, subject to the following conditions: <br /> • compliance with License Plan No. 2584, dated October 26, 1990. <br /> • the dock shall be installed within the three-foot contour line. <br /> • the float size shall be reduced to 8X16 feet. <br /> • the westerly side of the float shall be installed at elevation three. <br /> • the length of the dock shall be reduced to approximately 38 feet from the mean high <br /> water line. <br /> • findings 1,2,3 (approved by Shellfish and Conservation Commission), 4, 5. <br /> Mr. Guerrera seconded the motion. All agreed. <br /> Clifford W. Norling, Jr,—Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-25,19 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for the construction of a pier, ramp and float in Shoestring Bay on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 18 Quaker Run Road (Map 83 Block 212), <br /> Mashpee, MA, <br /> Members sitting; Edward M, Govoni,Robert G. Nelson and Richard T. Guerrera, Mr. <br /> Regan stepped down. <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky of Cape& Islands Engineering represented the applicant. He stated <br /> that the Conservation Commission has reviewed the project and an order of conditions is <br /> pending approval from the Board of Appeals. The Shellfish Commissioner has approved <br /> the proposal. Mr. Slavinsky stated that the length of the dock is 40 feet from the mean <br /> high water line. He also informed the Board that there are steep embankments with <br /> walkways accessing the dock, a typical 4-foot pier, a three-foot ramp and an 8-foot X 24- <br /> foot float, <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Mr. Nelson moved to grant the Special Permit, subject to criteria and findings 1 -- 5. Mr. <br /> Govoni seconded the motion. All agreed. <br /> Donald L. & Geraldine P. Bibo Jr. —Request a Special Permit under Section 174-25.1.9 <br /> '! of the Zoning By-laws for the construction of a pier, ramp and float in Shoestring Bay on <br /> property located in: an R-3 zoning district at 22 Quaker Run Road(Map 83 Block 17), <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting: Edward M. Govoni, Robert G. Nelson and Richard T. Guerrera. <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky of Cape& Islands Engineering represented the applicants. The <br /> proposal is for the construction of a dock that extends 57 feet from the mean high water <br /> mark, an 8-foot X 24-foot float and a 4-foot wooden pier with steps down the <br /> i' <br /> embankment. The project has been reviewed by the Conservation Commission. <br /> No comments were received from abutters <br />
