The applicant is not requesting a height variance. <br /> Mr. Crosby, the applicant's brother-in-law, submitted a letter in support of the proposal, <br /> Mr, Nelson addressed the problem of parking in the area, suggesting that Mr. Sanicki <br /> indicate on the plans the proposal for two parking spaces in the driveway, <br /> Mr. Nelson moved to grant the variance subject to variance criteria 1-4 and findings i - 4, <br /> allowing the building to be erected 10 feet back from the street line, i foot from the <br /> northerly street line and 8 feet from the rear property line;with the condition that a <br /> parking area accommodating a minimum of two cars be constructed on the southerly side <br /> of the building. He also moved to grant a lot coverage variance of 12.9%; stating that the <br /> lot is extremely small and the proposed improvements will be far superior to the existing <br /> dwelling. <br /> Mr. Dorgan seconded the motion. All agreed. <br /> Mr. Nelson moved to grant the Special Permit, subject to findings 3, 4, 5, 6, stating the <br /> proposal will constitute an improvement to the lot. Mr. Dorgan seconded. He indicated <br /> that the Harbormaster, Shellfish Warden, Waterways Commission and Conservation <br /> Commission have all approved the proposal. He submitted revisions at the requests of the <br /> Harbormaster and Shellfish Warden, The new proposal is now 82 feet from the high <br /> water line.
