Board of Appeals Minutes -May 13, 1998 2. <br /> Bert E. and Margaret McConnell -Request a Special Permit under Section 174-25.1.9 of <br /> the Zoning By-laws for permission to construct a pier, float and walkway on Ockway Bay <br /> on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 7 Harbor Ridge Drive(Map 104, Block <br /> 122) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, I Regan, C. Hawver <br /> Engineer Norman Hayes represented the applicant and explained that the Conservation <br /> Commission, Harbormaster and Shellfish Agent have agreed to the site which is 110 feet <br /> to the edge of the saltmarsh. <br /> Mr. Regan moved to grant a Variance of 40 feet to allow a dock length of 110 feet. Ms. <br /> Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br /> Mr. Regan moved to grant the Special Permit for the dock and allow for the maintenance <br /> and repair in perpetuity. Ms. Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br /> Warren and Maryellen Rabb -Request a Special Permit under Section 174-25.1.9 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to construct a pier, float and walkway on Ockway Bay on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 22 Harbor Ridge Drive (Map 104, Block 117) <br /> Mashpee,MA. <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, I Regan, C. Hawver <br /> Norman Hayes represented the applicant and stated that this dock can meet the 70 foot <br /> length limit and that Conservation, Shellfish and the Harbormaster have approved the site. <br /> Mr. Regan moved to grant the Special Permit and use dock findings with the addition of <br /> maintenance and repair in perpetuity. C. Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br /> Robert and Carol Moore -Request a Variance from Sections 174-32, 174-84, 174-85, <br /> 174-86 and 174-33 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to construct a single family <br /> home on an unpaved road in an Area of Critical Environmental Concern(ACEC) on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 67 Amy Brown Road (Map 115, Block 18) <br /> Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: Camlin Realty Trust). <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, I Regan, C. Hawver <br /> Attorney Kevin Kirrane represented the applicant. He explained that Amy Brown Road is <br /> an unimproved road and the subdivision was created about 10 years ago. The Planning <br /> Board required a portion of the road to be paved and that the remaining portion of the <br /> road to be an improved gravel way. The developer agreed to convey Lot 4 to the Town <br /> of Mashpee Conservation Commission. He explained that the applicant needs relief on the <br /> setbacks from ACEC.
