Makunas, J. Regan, E. Govoni <br /> Engineer Michael Grotzke represented the applicant and presented a plan detailing the location of <br /> the pool. A letter was read which was submitted by abutters Mr. and Mrs. Donald Tamasetti <br /> objecting to construction of the pool as it is 17'feet from their home. <br /> Mr. Makunas moved to deny the motion without prejudice, suggesting the neighbors be met with. <br /> Mr. Regan seconded. Mr. Govoni made the vote unanimous. <br /> Mike's Service Station -Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> to allow the expansion of a non-conforming service station with the addition of a U-Haul rental <br /> service on property located in an R-5 zoning district at 135 Mail Street. (Map 37)Block 58) <br /> Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: ; S. Joseph DiMaggio). <br /> Members sitting: R. Guerrera, E. Govoni, J. Regan <br /> Mr. DiMaggio represented himself and had a representative from U-Haul with him. Abutters <br /> Elinor Faxton and Michelle Clements were present and stated their concerns about the mixed use <br /> of the property, its appearance and the traffic the additional trucks will bring. Abutter Jeffrey <br /> Link expressed concern about how many non-conforming uses this property can have. <br /> R. Guerrera moved to grant the Special Permit with conditions that the business has no more than <br /> 6 U-Haul vehicles at one time, only 2 of which can be parked in front of the lot (the other 4 must <br /> be parked in back), that they be parked in slots # 5 & 6 currently designated for used cars, that the <br /> trucks be no longer than 14' feet and that the hours of operation remain 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. <br /> Mr. Regan seconded.
