Govoni, C. Hawver, J. Dorgan <br /> Attorney Mills represented the applicant. Other representatives were Joe Mendendes <br /> prospective owner, Mr, Hubert, Engineer, Ron Gilla project manager, and Greg Reynolds, <br /> development consultant. Attorney Mills discussed different interpretations of what <br /> distance from rotary the measurement for the driveway can be placed. He reviewed <br /> revised septic plans, drainage, added 40 trees to rear il <br /> d b <br /> property line, moveudin <br /> forward to increase rear buffer, g S feet <br /> 11 Parking spots were recommended by Town Planner to reduce asphalt, 14 in the By-law <br /> can be done if Board requires, the proposed drive is located at maximum distance, y w <br /> Mr. Mendendes said the landscape plan has been modified but other plans have not been <br /> adjusted until Board approves. He said the septic has been changed to a fast water <br /> system, the catch basins have been modified to "deep sunk"catch basins. He said if there <br /> was leak on site there were automatic shut offs on trucks and a containment vault on <br /> pipes. They have tried to design safeguards on a worst case scenario. The buildin is <br /> pitched away from doors to floor drains. g <br /> They have filed a curb cut request with the State and have heard that it is a roved. <br /> Govoni asked if the State had considered the correspondence from the DPW director, <br /> He said the state required widening of the road rather than a left turn lane. Mr. Dor <br /> questioned the location of telephone poles close to the entrance, gan <br /> Mr. Govoni questioned why the plan was revised and was told that the Town Planner <br /> had <br /> requested the swale between 28 and the building. Mr. Dorgan suggested the drive be <br /> moved further down even though cost would increase and this would improve the stacki <br /> line. Mr. Govoni said he wanted to conform to DPW director's suggestions. Mr. ng <br /> Reynolds said the state has approved the proposed location. He said they will not have <br /> stacking problem and will generate minimum traffic. Mr, Govoni said his prime concern <br /> was safety and he was going to invoke Chapter 593.
