Coordinator <br /> Elinor Glener, Clerk = <br /> James Long <br /> Gus Frederick <br /> ,John Cahalane <br /> Kathy Mohler-Faris <br /> CALL To ORDER <br /> Chairman Ruth Elias called the meeting to order at 2:03 PM. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> None. <br /> WELCOME <br /> Ruth Elias welcomed new committee member Kathy Mohler-Faris and thanked her for her interest <br /> in working on the Committee. Ms. Mohler-Faris gave a synopsis of her background, stating that <br /> she was a Clinical Social Worker, having been employed at Falmouth Human services for 27 years. <br /> Since July of last year she left Falmouth Human Services and started a part-titre private practice in <br /> Falmouth. Ms. Mohler-Faris has worked with many seniors and also with pregnant and parenting <br /> teens while at Falmouth Human Services, Ms. Mohler-Faria helped to establish the Mashpee <br /> Human Services} along with Fred Diamond. <br /> The committee members in turn introduced themselves to Kathy Mo h ler-Faria. <br /> REVIEW of MINUTES <br /> John Cahalane made a motion that the minutes from the June 21, 2012 Human Services <br /> Committee meeting be approved as presented. .James Long seconded the notion. The motion <br /> was unanimously approved. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 40 RFP Sub-Committee Report: Meeting with Joyce Mason <br /> Ruth Elias stated that publishing of the Request for Qualifications RFQ) is the first step in the <br /> process of preparing for distribution a Request for Proposal (RFI ) document. For clarification <br /> purposes, It was explained that the Town had approved a $35,000 grant for the Human Services <br /> Committee to conduct a Deeds Assessment study, the first ever done by the Town of Mashpee. <br />
