3. <br /> Mr. Makunas stated that he would like to take the matter Under <br /> advisement. Mr. Govoni moved to grant the request. Mr. Friel seconded. <br /> Mr. Makunas moved to take under advisement. Mr. Friel seconded. All <br /> agreed. <br /> Marcia Q. Johnson - Requests a Special Permit under Section <br /> 174-25.1.5 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to operate a real estate <br /> business as a Dome occupation in an R-5 zoning district on property <br /> located in an R--5 zoning district on property located at 85' T imberlane <br /> Drive (Map 22, Block 24) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Members sitting; J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. Govoni <br /> Marcia Johnson explained that she has. been affiliated with REMAX <br /> and. that the office she was associated with had become. ERA. In order to <br /> remain with REMAX she had to get out of the Pocasset office. She stated <br /> that she would have a separate office area and employed a typist <br /> app.roximateiy ten hours a week. The home office would not be advertised <br /> and. that it would be used for initial meetings with customers and perhaps <br /> closing deals. <br /> Mr. Regan stated that Ms.. Johnson was a member of a professional <br /> i occupation, associated. with a: professional organization, the Board of <br /> Realtors,. and that he- felt the proposed use- was allowable under- the= <br /> section Ms.-Johnson has applied- for. <br /> Mr. Friel stated that he has difficulty with establishing a business <br /> in a. residential zone that. has no, history of business use , He also stated he- <br /> had one- call in opposition-, that being from Mr. Thomas Boyd of Popponesset. <br /> Real Estate, Mr. Boyd was to submit his opposition in writing-, but had not- <br /> done <br /> otdone so <br /> E <br /> Mr. Makunas statedthat he was. not in favor at_ all and that he feels <br /> that a residential neighborhood should be. a residential neighborhood. <br /> Ms. Johnson assured the Board that she. would: not be putting up a <br /> sign and that the address= would not. be advertised and that the only reason <br /> she was appearing was to appease the Cape Cod Board of Realtors and <br /> thein requirements. <br />
