e <br /> TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> Board of Appeals <br /> Minutes <br /> May 27, 1992 <br /> The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting on Wednesday, May <br /> 27, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall . Board Members <br /> present and acting throughout were: John J. Friel,Chairman; <br /> Michael A. Makunas, Vice-Chairman; and Edward M. Govoni, Arnold <br /> Mindick and Jamie Regan. <br /> Mr. Friel called the meeting to order at 7:32 P.M. and announced <br /> that the Selectmen had named Edward M. Govoni a regular member <br /> and the Board would reorganize. . <br /> Reorganization - Mr. Makunas nominated Mr. Govoni as Clerk. <br /> Mr. Friel seconded. All agreed. <br /> Christopher C. Noyes -- Requests a Special. Permit under Section <br /> 174-25 .A.8 of the zoning By-laws for permission to convert <br /> basement space to an in-law apartment in an R-5 zoning district <br /> on property located at 85 Wilann Road (Map 46, Block 24) Mashpee, <br /> Ma. <br /> Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. Govoni <br /> Mr. Noyes explained that it had become necessary for his mother, <br /> Jenny Noyes, to live with him due to financial and medical <br /> reasons . He planned to convert basement space into a separate <br /> apartment. No abutters were present. Mr. Friel questioned if <br /> Mr. Noyes would be living upstairs and he confirmed that he <br /> would. Mr. Noyes said he had told neighbors of his plans and <br /> there were no objections. Mr. Mindick asked if apartment could <br /> be occupied by other family members and Mr. Makunas explained <br /> that the by-law does not address this. Mr. Noyes said the <br /> apartment would be for one person only. <br /> Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Special Permit with the <br /> restriction that it be occupied by the owner' s mother, Jenny <br /> Noyes, only and that the permit will expire upon the abandonment <br /> of the use by the owner' s mother. Mr. Govoni seconded. All <br /> agreed. <br /> MRL Realty Trust - Requests a Special Permit under Section 174- <br /> 25.1 . 9 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to replace an 8 ' <br /> x 20 ' float with a 12 ' x 24 ' float and install 4 mooring piles <br /> in Popponesset Creek in an R-3 zoning district on property <br /> located at 7 Bight Circle (Map 106, Block 11 ) Mashpee, MA. <br /> (Owner of record: Victor L.
