Board of Appeals Minutes - April 22, 1992 5. <br /> Members sitting: M. Makunas, C. Hawver, J. Friel <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky presented plans for a deck approximately 10" from <br /> the ground. He explained that the lot is skewed and severely twisted and <br /> the owner is trying to prevent children from crossing the marsh. Mr. Govoni <br /> stated that lot coverage is 12%. A direct abutter, Mr. Nation, had informed <br /> the Appeals office that he was in favor of the deck. Ms. Hawver explained <br /> that the deck would be considered a structure. <br /> Mr. Friel stated that the height should not be more than 6' higher than the <br /> average grade. Mr. Friel moved to grant the Variance and the Special Permit. <br /> Ms. Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br /> William Zammer - The Board was informed that Mr. Zammer had completed <br /> all Board of Health requirements for the Donut Box. <br /> Boar o <br /> o Appeals Instructs. for Applicants Mr. Govoni noted that the <br /> „ns.._ �- <br /> instructions for applicants do not require elevations of additions and said <br /> these should be included. Mr. Makunas said there should be architectural <br /> renderings of all new construction. All agreed and instructions will be <br /> revised. Mr. Friel and Mr. Makunas said this could be flexible. <br /> New Seabury Stables - The Board was informed that Mr. Govoni had met <br /> with Town Counsel Joe Reardon and Christopher Burden of New Seabury and <br /> and Mr. Reardon agreeded that only space would be considered commercial. <br /> Cheryl Hawver - Ms. Hawver said she had submitted a letter of resignation <br /> as a regular member but agreed to continue as an Associate Member if <br /> appointed. Her resignation would be effective May 27, 1992. <br /> The Board agreed to send a recommendation to Carol Jacobson, chairman of <br /> the Board of Selectmen,to appoint Edward Govoni as a regular member. <br /> Mr. Govoni moved to adjourn at 9:30 P.M. Mr. Friel seconded. All agreed. <br /> Elinor Walsh <br />
