Board of Appeals Minutes - April 22, 1992 5. Members sitting: M. Makunas, C. Hawver, J. Friel Engineer John Slavinsky presented plans for a deck approximately 10" from the ground. He explained that the lot is skewed and severely twisted and the owner is trying to prevent children from crossing the marsh. Mr. Govoni stated that lot coverage is 12%. A direct abutter, Mr. Nation, had informed the Appeals office that he was in favor of the deck. Ms. Hawver explained that the deck would be considered a structure. Mr. Friel stated that the height should not be more than 6' higher than the average grade. Mr. Friel moved to grant the Variance and the Special Permit. Ms. Hawver seconded. All agreed. William Zammer - The Board was informed that Mr. Zammer had completed all Board of Health requirements for the Donut Box. Boar o o Appeals Instructs. for Applicants Mr. Govoni noted that the „ns.._ �- instructions for applicants do not require elevations of additions and said these should be included. Mr. Makunas said there should be architectural renderings of all new construction. All agreed and instructions will be revised. Mr. Friel and Mr. Makunas said this could be flexible. New Seabury Stables - The Board was informed that Mr. Govoni had met with Town Counsel Joe Reardon and Christopher Burden of New Seabury and and Mr. Reardon agreeded that only space would be considered commercial. Cheryl Hawver - Ms. Hawver said she had submitted a letter of resignation as a regular member but agreed to continue as an Associate Member if appointed. Her resignation would be effective May 27, 1992. The Board agreed to send a recommendation to Carol Jacobson, chairman of the Board of Selectmen,to appoint Edward Govoni as a regular member. Mr. Govoni moved to adjourn at 9:30 P.M. Mr. Friel seconded. All agreed. Elinor Walsh
