Board <br /> members present and acting throughout were Michael A. Makunas, <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver and John J . Friel . Building Inspector <br /> Douglas S. Boyd was in attendance . Mr. Makunas called the <br /> meeting to order at 7 : 42 P.M. <br /> Norman and Dianne J . elliveau - Request a Variance from <br /> Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary <br /> the front yard setback in an R-5 zoning district on property <br /> located at 41 Lakeview Drive ( Map 40, Block 51 ) Mashpee, MA. <br /> (Owner of record : Prime Properties Limited Partnership) . <br /> Members sitting : M. Makunas, C. Hawver, J . Friel <br /> Engineer Robert Raymond represented the applicant and <br /> presented plans for the location of a house 25 ' from Lakeview <br /> Drive. He explained that the topography of the lot dictated <br /> this placement away from a bank leading to Ashumet Pond . <br /> Mr. Friel moved to grant the Variance. Ms . Hawver seconded. <br /> All agreed. <br /> Daniel o as and Douglas A. Mollne - Request a Special <br /> Permit under Section 174-25 . 1 . 9 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to construct a pier, ramp and float in an R-3 <br /> zoning district on property located at 57 Frog Pond Close (Map <br /> 90, Block 80 ) Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record : Daniel A. and <br /> Katherine I . Thomas ) . <br /> Members sitting: M. Makunas, C. Hawver, J. Friel <br /> Mr. Thomas explained that he and his direct abutter were <br /> proposing to build a Joint dock on a cleared area of land and <br /> had reviewed plans with Conservation and the previous <br /> Shellfish Warden. He explained that an old dock will be <br /> removed as will a shed on the property. <br /> Mr. Friel moved to grant the Special Permit. Ms . Hawver <br /> seconded. All agreed . <br />
