ZBA is proposing deleting and
replacing with new verbiage, The change gives the Building Commissioner authority to
issue permit as long as it meets zoning.
174-17.1 Raze and Replace. This would be an added new section that would clarify,
under the law,the ZBA authority to review and evaluate existing homes to be torn down
and rebuilt which may or may not meet the requirements under the existing Zoning
Bylaws.
174-25 l 9 ---Fixed and floating piers... ZBA is proposing deleting and replacing with
new verbiage with would rely on approvals from.the Conservation Commission, Shellfish
Commission, the Waterways Commission, and the Harbormaster. These environmental
agencies are better suited to handle this type of use so this wording leaves approval with
them and eliminates duplication since ZBA merely rubber stamps approval.
Drew McManus exited the meeting at 4:45 p.m.
