Board of Appeals Minutes - April 10, 1991 8. Mr. Boyd informed the Board that the State Building Code says and also gives shelter" in its definition of a structure. He said the parking that exists now is .protected but any new parking would have to be paved. Mr. Makunas suggested the paving could be waived via variance procedure. Mr. Boyd agreed. John Friel asked how square footage was measured on tents and Mr. Boyd replied that it was an outside measurement. Mr. Friel mentioned that vendors now have poles and canvas covers. Mr. Boyd said the tents proposed would require engineer's certification. Mr. Makunas asked for leases for the golf course and restaurant. Mr. Hanrahan stated the Board would need more information on tent location. Mr. Jansson said that Design Review might recommend tent locations but did not want to hold up the permit on this issue. Mr. Hanrahan asked as a point of order if the applicant should withdraw the tent issue at this time. Mr. Makunas asked for an itemized list of planned improvements and Mr. Jansson said they are planning toilet facilities and reseeding to control dust. Mr. Makunas said he did not think the Board had enough information to act on the request. He moved to take the petition under advisement. Mr. Hanrahan seconded. All agreed. Ms. Hawver asked when information could be provided. Mr. Jansson said the new lease would be provided. He said there was no sub- lease for Fabio's and the golf course, and Mr. Marandola is an independent contractor. Mr. Talanian said Fabio's had a direct lease. Patrick Enright - (Advisement from 3/13/91) - Mr. Makunas moved to grant a 30--day extension upon written request from New Seabury Construction. Mr. Govoni seconded. Mr. Friel made the vote unanimous. Minutes - March 13, 1991 - Mr. Hanrahan moved to accept the minutes. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. Mr. Hanrahan moved to adjourn at 9:45 P.M.
