Board of Appeals Minutes - April 10, 1991 8. <br /> Mr. Boyd informed the Board that the State Building Code says <br /> and also gives shelter" in its definition of a structure. He <br /> said the parking that exists now is .protected but any new parking <br /> would have to be paved. Mr. Makunas suggested the paving could <br /> be waived via variance procedure. Mr. Boyd agreed. <br /> John Friel asked how square footage was measured on tents and <br /> Mr. Boyd replied that it was an outside measurement. Mr. Friel <br /> mentioned that vendors now have poles and canvas covers. Mr. Boyd <br /> said the tents proposed would require engineer's certification. <br /> Mr. Makunas asked for leases for the golf course and restaurant. <br /> Mr. Hanrahan stated the Board would need more information on <br /> tent location. <br /> Mr. Jansson said that Design Review might recommend tent locations <br /> but did not want to hold up the permit on this issue. <br /> Mr. Hanrahan asked as a point of order if the applicant should <br /> withdraw the tent issue at this time. <br /> Mr. Makunas asked for an itemized list of planned improvements <br /> and Mr. Jansson said they are planning toilet facilities and reseeding <br /> to control dust. <br /> Mr. Makunas said he did not think the Board had enough information <br /> to act on the request. He moved to take the petition under advisement. <br /> Mr. Hanrahan seconded. All agreed. <br /> Ms. Hawver asked when information could be provided. Mr. Jansson <br /> said the new lease would be provided. He said there was no sub- <br /> lease for Fabio's and the golf course, and Mr. Marandola is an <br /> independent contractor. Mr. Talanian said Fabio's had a direct <br /> lease. <br /> Patrick Enright - (Advisement from 3/13/91) - Mr. Makunas moved <br /> to grant a 30--day extension upon written request from New Seabury <br /> Construction. Mr. Govoni seconded. Mr. Friel made the vote unanimous. <br /> Minutes - March 13, 1991 - Mr. Hanrahan moved to accept the <br /> minutes. Mr. Govoni seconded.
