TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Minutes <br /> March 13, 1991 <br /> The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting at 7:30 P.M. on <br /> Wednesday, March 13, 1991 at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board members <br /> present and acting throughout were Michael A. Makunas, Edward M. <br /> Govoni and John J. Friel. Mr. Makunas called the meeting to order <br /> at 7:30 P.M. Building Inspector Douglas Boyd was in attendance. <br /> Board of Appeals fees: Mr. Makunas moved to amend the Rules <br /> and Regulations to reflect the fee schedule of $100 per lot for <br /> applications for Special Permits, Variances and Appeals under <br /> Chapter 40A, and $100 per unit for Comprehensive Permit Applications <br /> under Chapter 40B. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br /> Mr. Makunas moved to accept the standard fee for the application <br /> of Edward Wasil. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br /> Lawrence W. Doyle - Requests a Special Permit under Sections <br /> 174-17 and 174-24 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to alter/change/ <br /> extend a pre- existing non-conforming structure by removing the existing <br /> building and constructing a new single family structure in an R-3 <br /> zoning district on property located at 15 Dean's Hollow Road (Map <br /> 123, Block 150) Mashpee, MA. (Owners of record: Lawrence W. and <br /> Hilda E. Doyle) . <br /> Members sitting: M. Makunas, E. Govoni, J. Friel <br /> Attorney Kevin Kirrane represented the applicant. He presented <br /> plans for the reconstruction of an existing seasonal home located <br /> in a flood plain at Popponesset. He explained that the architect <br /> determined that a new foundation would be necessary to comply with <br /> the required elevations. <br /> Mr. Kirrane reviewed plans for deck and walkways on sonar tubes. <br /> He said that the Building Inspector had ruled that the walkways would <br /> be considered essential for access and egress and would not be <br /> included in lot coverage percentages. No comments were received from <br /> abutters. <br /> Mr. Friel moved to grant the Special Permit referenced by plans <br /> of Ellis & Thulin 89-020 dated 1/18/91. Mr. Govoni seconded. <br /> All agreed. <br />
