Also in attendance was Interim <br /> Superintendent William C. MacDonald. <br /> I, Meeting Called Mrs. Cook called the regular meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. in high <br /> to Order school conference room B 103. <br /> Il. Approval old 2.1 M olar Meeting etin - December 1, 199 - Motion made by Mrs. <br /> Minutes Lynch, seconded by M . Macdonald, to approve the minutes of the <br /> regular meeting of December er ., 1998. <br /> TE: Unanimous <br /> 2.2 Executive Session - December 1, 1998 - Motion made by <br /> Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Lynch, to approve the executive <br /> session minutes of December 1, 1998. <br /> NOTE: Unanimous <br /> 2.3 Executive Session - December 16, 1998 - Motion made by <br /> Ms. Macdonald, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to approve the minutes of <br /> the executive session held on December er 1 , 1998. <br /> VOTE:' Unanimous <br /> III. -PubUc- leiForum FIs. fiercer R nho k and Ms. Cindy Galvin addressed the Committee <br /> on their concerns of the safety at a bus stop at James Circle. After <br /> fruitless . attempts to address this concern with the Safe <br /> Transportation 'Task Force to their satisfaction, Mrs. Lynch <br /> suggested they bring their concerns to the School Committee. <br /> After describing the issue in detail, Mrs. Cook asked to have Mr. <br /> MacDonald, Mrs. Lynch, a Laidlaw representative, BVI s. Ronh cl , <br /> and Ms. Galvin meet at the bus stop in question to once again <br /> consider the parental request. That meeting will be set up prig- to <br /> the January 26th Safe Transportation Task Force meeting. <br /> Ms. Karen Murphy, a Grade Six teacher at the Quashnet River <br /> School, and Principal Mrs. Louise Doyle, addressed the Committee <br /> -� regarding the Quashnet River School yearbook. Ms. Murphy <br /> explained that this year's yearbook is 12 pages longer than last <br />
