Therefore, Mr. <br /> MacDonald will contact him regarding this issue, <br /> • Flagpoles damaged by vandalism are scheduled for repairs. <br /> Quashnet Schools: <br /> • Four windows at the Quashnet Valley School were <br /> damaged by vandalism and replaced. <br /> • The flagpole was damaged by vandalism and is scheduled <br /> or repair. <br /> • As requested by the faculty, the dining room was painted <br /> by the maintenance staff. <br /> High School: <br /> • Annual inspection for kitchen food fire suppression <br /> system. <br /> • Bid requests for grounds maintenance (system-wide) and <br /> high school cleaning services prepared and sent out. <br /> • Preparing bid specifications for maintaining the wastewater <br /> treatment plant. <br /> System-Wide: <br /> • Annual maintenance for emergency generators. <br /> Mr. Feldman reported on an incident at the Coombs school <br /> here a louver fell out of the ceiling in the art/music room. <br /> Mr. Cook remedied the situation immediately. <br /> Mrs. Lynch suggested contacting the school attorney <br /> regarding the Coombs school HVAC system as noted above. <br /> 7.5 FY99 Budget Review - Mr-. MacDonald said, We've been <br /> extremely conservative in spending over the past to months. <br /> Special education seems to have leveled off but to expect the <br /> unexpected." Where were no questions from the Committee. <br /> 7.6 January suspensions - Mr. MacDonald reported on the <br /> January suspensions at the high school. There wcre a total of <br /> 18 with three Saturday school sessions held during the <br /> month of January. A total of 31 students were assigned <br /> Saturday School Office Detention. There were a total of 23 <br /> ti <br /> suspensions in January._ <br />
