Bradley Reading - Mrs. Lynch said this <br /> issue cane up at one of the elementary sub-committee meetings. - She <br /> introduced Patricia Parolski who outlined this phonetic reading program. <br /> The Curriculum Sub-committ will review this issue at their next <br /> meeting. <br /> 9.4 Science Curriculum ReNision - Mrs. Parolski thanked School <br /> Committee members Ms. Macdonald, Mrs. Cock, Science teachers Charles <br /> Anastasia and Bob Bailey as well as Cur iculum Advisory Board members <br /> Sandra Cohrs, Susan chute, and Thomas Khoury for their efforts in <br /> developmig the Science Curriculum Revision. Also commended was <br /> Secretary Shirley Larsen for coordinating all of the pieces for typing. Mrs. <br /> Parolski and Mr. Bailey explained the curriculum. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Cook, seconded by IVIS. Macdonald, the "Science <br /> Curriculum for Kindergarten- Grade 120 <br /> was approved. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 9.5 Additional High School Courses I Curriculum - Mrs. Lynch said <br /> more th-ne was needed to review these items. <br /> Motion made by Mrs, Cook, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to place this item on <br /> the August agenda. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 9.6 User Pees - Mr. Fluery e. lained that fall sports user fees will be <br /> J. <br /> between $50-$100 per sport per child. However,-ever, he will discuss possible <br /> contributions by the Boosters Club and give a report at the,August School <br />' Committee meeting. <br /> i <br /> X. committee 10.1 Sub-Committee Reports <br /> Reports <br /> 10.1.1 I e oti bon's -� Mr. Paxton said this items rill be discussed in <br /> executive session. <br /> 10.1.2 High School- No report this evening. <br /> 10.1.3Elementary School - Mrs. Cook reported that at them- last meeting, <br /> topics of discussion included recess monitors, the won way <br /> Program, music, kindergarten report cards, and Grades 4-6 report <br /> cards wi11 be reviewed. <br /> 10.1.4 Curriculum, - IIs. Macdonald said this was discussed earlier with <br /> the Science Curriculum reVi ion. <br /> 10.2 External Reports <br /> 10.2.1 Capehod Collaborative - Discussion on whom should attend these <br /> meetffigs. This will. be followed up at the August regular meeting. <br />
