c MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING TING SEPTEMBER , 1999 Minutes Attendees: Chairwoman Kathleen Lynch, Janice Mills, Maryanne Macdonald, Theresa Cook, and Stephen Paxton. Also In attendance were Superintendent. of Schools Sherwood Fluery and Business Administrator Russ McG wn. I. CaU Meeting The regular meeting was called to order by Mrs. Lynch at '7: p.m. to Order in high school conference room B 103. XII. Executive Session Motion made by Mrs. Co , seconded by Ms. Macdonald, to move into executive session at 7:06 p.m. to discuss a legal issue. } Roll Call Vote: In favor - Mrs. Lynch, Mrs. Mills, Ms. Macdonald, Mrs. Cool, and Mr. Paxton; opposed - none. The regular meeting resumed at 7:13 p.m. 116 Approval of Minutes to 2.1 Regglar Meeting-Auggst 10, 1999 -Motion made by Mr. Paxton, seconded by Ms. Macdonald, to approve the minutes ofthe regular meeting held on August 10, 1999. VOTE; Unanimous 2.2 Executive Session - August 10---1999 - Motion made by Ms. Macdonald, seconded by Mr. Paxton, to approve the minutes of the executive session held on August 10, 1999. VOTE; Unanimous 111. Public Forum There was no public input this evening. rV. Acknowledgments Mrs. Lynch acknowledged the following: 4.1 Leisure Services Van Usage - Michael Horne - Thanks to Leisure Services for their cooperationwith the school Athletic Department and its usage of their van. 4.2 Spring ports Awards ^ Michael Horne - Mrs. Lynch acknowledged the following spring 1999 sports and participants: 0 Girls' tennis and softball Varsity teams were awarded the Joseph Masi Patriot League Sportmans ip Award. • Gaining All League status - Lenny x ldinan, baseball; Stephanie Hall, softball;ll; Robert Dias, Stere Miceli, and Sarah Kemp, track; Ryan furry, tennis; Dennis Goreea and Peter Gangami, golf. • MIAA Gold Awards (for team GPA over 3. ) were given to the Varsity softball and golf.
