MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE ITTEE- REGULAR LA1 MEETING- NOVEMBER 8, 1999 PAGE 8 <br /> Discussion followed regarding. the School Committee hell ing <br /> to defray refreshment costs. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Cook, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to give <br /> 100 towards refreshments. <br /> OTE: Unanimous a <br /> New Business There was nothing under "New Business" this evening. <br /> X. Committee Reports 10.1 Sub-Committee lent <br /> 10.1.1 Negotiations -- Mr. Paxton said this will be discussed <br /> in executive session. <br /> 10.1.2 Him School -- Ms. Macdonald said there has been no <br /> meeting. <br /> 10.1.3 Elementary School - Mrs. Cooly attended the last <br /> meeting where music lessons were discussed. <br /> 10.1..4 Curriculum - There is a meeting on November 16, <br /> 1999 at :00 p.m. Mr. Fluery suggested a curriculum <br /> committee on world Language. <br /> 10.2 External Reports <br /> ort <br /> 10.2.1 Cape Cod Collaborative - Mr. F'luery said that at the <br /> Cape and Islands Superintendents meeting to be held <br /> on November 12, ars alterative Program for high <br /> school student drop-outs through the Cape Cod <br /> Collaborative will be discussed. Walter Healer will <br /> male a presentation. <br /> 10.2.2 Leisure Services - Mrs. Cooly discussed, the last <br /> meeting where lack of supervision at the high school <br /> was discussed. *There is also a need for greeter" <br /> during Leisure Service after-school hours. <br /> Mrs. Cook said she was not able to continue to be on <br /> this committee Motion made by Mrs. Cooly to <br /> nominate Mrs. Mills to serve on the Leisure Services <br /> Advisory Council. Her motion was seconded by IVIS. <br /> Macdonald. <br /> VO'T'E* Unanimous <br /> 1.o.2 3 Legislation Mrs. Lynch reported on the joint <br /> I.A.S.C. II.A.S.S. meeting held during the geek of <br /> November 3-6, 1999. <br />
