Three players were selected by the <br /> Boston Globe a "Players of the Tee " for Division III. They were <br /> Jonathan Taylor, Tommy Hendricks, and Brian Sharpe. <br /> • The girls'varsity soccer team qualified.for the MIAA State Tournament <br /> and Avon their preliminary game. Kayin Thomas was named to the <br /> 'All League Team." Also the team was awarded the "Joseph Masi <br /> Patriot League Sportsmanship Award." <br /> The boys' varsity soccer turn was represented on the "All League <br /> Team" by Garrett O'Hara. <br /> The field hockey team also won the Joseph Masi Patriot League <br /> Sportsmanship Award." Ryan Grady, Teri Miceli, and Megan Walsh <br /> were named to the "All League Turn." <br /> large banner was received proclaiming M shpee as the "Overall <br /> League Sportsmanship Award" winner for the 1998-1999-season. <br /> * MIAA awards certificates to teams that earn academic excellence were <br /> presented. They were Silver for 2.5 to 2.99 gpa; Gold for 3.00 to 4.00 <br /> gpa. Mashpee teams winning Silver certificates were Varsity Football, <br /> Boys Soccer, and Cheerleaders; Gold certificates were Boys and Girls <br /> Cross Country, Boys JV Soccer, Varsity Field Hockey and Girls varsity <br /> Soccer. <br /> T. Communications 5.1 Judith Fischer Letter - Mrs. Lynch acknowledged Ms. Fi cher's <br /> letter in which she expresses her thanks to members of the Quashnet <br /> Talley School staff for their efforts in educating her children. <br /> VI. Student Advisory Chris Maguire, the Student Advisory Council representative, was absent at <br /> Council tonight's meeting. <br /> VII.
