q To <br /> MASHPEE SCHOOL cOMMl1 T - REGULAR MEETING -JANUARY 5. 2000 PAGE 4 <br /> and school principals Louise Boyle, Nick'Feldman, and Demise Fronius <br /> -participated in the'audit. <br /> In general, the buildings were found to be in good standing, however, <br /> the Barnstable County Health Department will forward a report <br /> identifying any areas of concern. <br /> Cleaning. <br /> • A cleaning supervisor has been hired and will commence <br /> employment on January 9 after completing two days of ire-service <br /> training with the wolfeboro, NH School District on January 6 and <br /> 2000. <br /> During the ] umber break, the corridor floors were deep <br /> scrubbed and re-coated. <br /> • Quarterly HVAC filter and lubrication <br /> • Annual sprinkler system testing <br /> 0 Annual fire alar testing <br /> • Environmental air- compressor replaced in Quashnet Schools <br /> 7.5 FY2000 Budget Review - Mr. McGowan said the principals are <br /> currently reviewing the budget to find any surpluses. <br /> 7.6 High School Room Utilization - 2000.2001 _School Year -- High <br /> School,principal Ira Brown discussed the 2000-2001 proposed room usage <br /> which is based upon all proposed courses running and the highest <br /> estimate of predicted sections being utilized. <br /> The Superm' tendert' office will be relocating next school year. <br /> 7.7 Out-of-School Suspensions - In his monthly report, Assistant <br /> Principal Robert remise reported there were three. Saturday school <br /> sessions held during the month of December. A total of 43 students were <br /> assigned with 22 suspensions during the month. � <br /> i <br /> 7.8 Highh.School Graduation - Mr. Brown reported on the latest high <br /> school graduation dans -regarding its budget and program. A meeting has <br /> been scheduled for January 6th. IIIb. Discussion followed regarding the reorganization <br /> proposal. <br />
