r T MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 2, 2000 Minutes Attendees: Chairwoman Kathleen Lynch, Janice Mills, Maryanne Macdonald, Theresa Cook, and Stephen Paxton. Also i -attendance were Superintendent of Schools Sherwood Fluery and Business Administrator buss McCown. I. Call Meeting Mrs. Lynch called the regular meeting to order at 7:1.2 p.m. in the to order Mashpee High School's cafeteria. The meeting was moved to the cafeteria in order- to 'accommodate the number of parents in i attendance. Ii. Approval of 2.1 Regular 1Vleetirg - Januga 5, 200 -- Motion made by Mrs. Mi t . s Cook, seconded by Ms. Macdonald, to approve the minutes tes f the regular meeting held on January 5, ,2000. VOTE: Unanimous 2.2 Executive Session-January 5, 2000 - Motion rade by Mr. Paxton, seconded by IVIS. Macdonald, to approve the minutes of the executive session held on January 5, 2000. TOTE: Unanimou III. Public Forum On this evening's'agenda is the proposed elementary reorganization issue which would have grades K-2 at the Coombs School; 3-4 and 5-6 at the Quashnet Schools. Mr. Fluery has held two faculty meetings and two parent forums to discuss this issue. Several parents and teachers expressed heir concerns on this topic.
