Personnel Form - Business Administrator Russ McCown <br /> introduced a new personnel form. Mrs. Mills suggested placing a <br /> Superintendent's signature line on the "Notice of Employment <br /> Termination" form. <br /> 7.2 Food Service Update - Mr. McCown- said the food service <br /> contract with Chartwells expires this year. He will be meeting with <br /> the Town Accountant to review the -lunch reconciliation form <br /> figures. Mr. 1 lcGown suggested a meeting with the Menu Advisory <br /> Council to discuss the. of c ntinuing with the contractor or the <br /> possibility-of initiating our own system. <br /> 7.3 Enrollments - Mr. Fluery updated the Committee on current <br /> enrollments. They are: Coombs School - 508; Quashnet Valley - r <br /> 444; Quashnet River - 423; and Mashpee High School - 833. Total <br /> district enrollments'.of 2208. Cape Cool 'Tech has 48 Mashpee <br /> students erolled. <br /> 7. Facilities Report - Mr. Fluery discussed the frost heaves that <br /> occurred at the rear entrances of the high school. The doors were <br /> unable to be opened. To remedy this situation, the maintenance <br /> staff chiseled the cement so the doors are easily opened. <br /> In his report, School Facilities Supervisor Don Cook noted the <br /> following: <br /> LA.0. Testing- Coombs School: <br /> i. on December 15, 1999, the 'Barnstable County.Department <br /> of Health and the Environment conducted indoor air quality tests. <br /> In 'several areas the level of C 2 were -found at or slightly above <br /> Massachusetts Department of Health guidelines. Although .the C2 <br /> readings found do not present a' health hazard, it does indicate a <br /> need for improve exhaust ventilation throughout the building. <br /> 2. -The recent HVAC improvements did correct the supply air <br /> distribution'in the building but the original passive exhaust air <br /> system remains. The report recommends consulting a ventilation <br /> engineer to address the need for mechanical exhaust units (electric <br /> rooftop ventilators) to be connected with the existing passive <br /> ductwork. <br /> r <br /> Bid to Provide i Q A C Control Services.- <br /> The <br /> r is .'he current bid for HVAC control serv-ices enols on June 30, 2000. <br /> Mr. Cook has found the present scope of work specifications to be <br /> inadequate for properly servicing the,two D.D.C.
