MASH PEE SCH0 0 L COMMI ITTE - RE GUL MEETIN G - MARCH 1 , 2 000 PAGE <br /> Students: from $.25 to $.35; Adults: $.40 to $.50. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Ms. Macdonald, to <br /> increase the price of milk for students t $.35 and $.50 for adults. <br /> Discussion followed regarding the milk increase after which Mrs. <br /> Mills rescinded her previous motion and Ms. Macdonald rescinded <br /> her second. # <br /> After more discussion, a motion was made by Mrs. Mills to increase <br /> the milk price for students to $. 0 and $.50 for adults. This would <br /> commence on April 1, 2000. <br /> OTE- Unanimous <br /> Mrs. warren also clarified that the current food service contract is <br /> effective until June 30, 2001. Also, Toni Lambert and Shirley <br /> Miller,, who both work in the high school cafereria, spore in behalf <br /> f the current focal service company, Chartw lls. <br /> 7.3 Enrollments - Mr. Fluery informed the Committee ofthe <br /> following enrollment figures: Coombs School 507; Quashnet <br /> Malley School - 444; Quashnet Diver School - 18; Mahpee High <br /> School - 83 1. 'There are 47 Mashpee students attending Cape Cod <br /> Tech. <br /> 7.4 Facilities „ ert - Discussion took place regarding the <br /> placement of special education students for summer programs at <br /> the elementary schools. <br /> In his monthly report, School Facilities Supervisor Lori Cook noted <br /> the following: <br /> Clean�rzc�: <br /> Cleaning Supervisor Bob Costa has chosen a candidate for the <br /> custodial vacancy at the high school. <br /> Mainter a 'Gr and : <br /> Morcott Landscaping has begun the Spring clean-up and athletic <br /> fields preparation for Spring sports. Maintaining the shinned <br /> baseball/all softball infields throughout the summer has been added <br /> to the contract. <br /> The maintenance crew has installed a new batting cage donated by <br /> Cape & Islands Steel Company and set up Spring trach equipment. <br /> Bids: <br /> Prepared bids to provide electrical and plumbing services for three <br /> years, FYO1-FY0 . <br /> Awarded bids for annual custodial supplies. <br />
