Mashpee Design Review committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Tuesday, March 20, 2012 <br /> a hp a Town Hall Meeting Hoorn I <br /> Committee Members rs Present: Walter Yarosh, and Bob Nelson. <br /> n. x <br /> Also Present: Charlie Maintanis— Building Department <br /> Absent: Mary Leblanc; and David l ooharian. <br /> Walter Yarosh called the meeting to order at 8:33 a.m. <br /> anera Bread <br /> Jessica Helbling <br /> Mandeville Sign <br /> Signa-ge and building „plans <br /> Jennifer Richter and Paul Wisnosl i appeared. The signage application was <br /> reviewed and following points were discussed: <br /> -Laver provides Design Review iew authority to approve signage up to 20 <br /> square feet; over 20 square feet goes to Board of Appeals for review. - <br /> Cannot have internally illuminated signs. Gooseneck lights are generally <br /> used in Mashpee Commons. <br /> Awning is allowed. since applicant not using as signage no approval <br /> needed. <br /> Walter suggested they eliminate backer board and. use individual letters. <br /> Jennifer Richter-said she will have the sign company determine <br /> measurements before going to ZBA. <br /> Logo is part of the signage. <br /> Blade sign is fine but no internal illumination. <br /> Bob Nelson informed the applicant that if they go to ZBA it has to be <br /> advertised trice:so when filing it could take a month to get on the Z A <br /> agenda. <br /> i <br /> i <br /> 723 Falmouth Road <br /> Hatem Enterprises Nominee Trust <br /> Signage for Stop & Shop gas Station <br /> Representative—Jeffrey Ford <br /> Christina Moreau and Attorney Mike Ford appeared. Mike Ford said they went to <br /> the Board of Appeals for a Special Permit and the Board of Appeals advised that <br /> the sign has to be approved by Design Review. <br />
