2 <br /> Environmental Oversight Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> February 14, 2008 <br /> Present: Don Myers, Ed Baker, Ted Theis,Beverly Kane, Ralph Marcelli <br /> Absent: Rick York <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Myers at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1 <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Thursday, January 17,2008: <br /> The minutes were amended to reflect on page two; replacing the wording <br /> front loading with the words;high efficiency. Page four under Mashpee <br /> River Dredging to read: The Waterways Commission is scheduled to <br /> attend the February meeting to discuss the Mashpce River dredging. Page <br /> five; first sentence is deleted. First sentence under Santuit Pond is revised <br /> to read: The EOC received correspondence from the Town of Barnstable <br /> regarding the wafter quality of Santuit Pond. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Baker to approve the minutes of Thursday, <br /> January 17,2008 as modified. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Theis. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> Thursday, October 11, 2007: <br /> The minutes of October 11, 2007 were distributed to the EOC Committee <br /> for review and approval at the March 13, 2008 meeting. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Waterwa s Commission—Mashpee River Dredging <br /> Due to scheduling conflicts,the Waterways Commission was unable to <br /> attend the EOC February Meeting. The WWC will be rescheduled to <br /> discuss the Mashpee River dredging at the March EOC Meeting. <br />
