n MASPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEE`T'ING JUNE , 2000 Minutes Attendees: Chairwoman Janice Mills, Theresa cool, DonnaJean Lopez, and Berg Caswell. Kathleen Lynch arrived at 7:15 p.m,. Also in attendance were Superintendent f Schools Sherwood Fluery and Business Administrator buss McCown. Mrs. Mills called the special meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. in high school conference room B 103. Before the budget discussion took place, the following topics were briefly discussed: Mr. Fluery asked Quashnet Valley School Principal Mr. Bob Tippo to introduce the new Assistant Principal at the Quashnet Schools Marianne Monacci. Members of the School Committee as well as triose in the audience introduced themselves to Mrs. Monacci and wished her well in her new duties. High School Principal Ira Brown presented each School Committee member with a copy of the 2000 high school yearbook. :• School Facilities Supervisor Don Cool updated the Committee on the elementary reorganization moves taking place. Mr. Fluery commended the principals and staff on their efforts during the last day of school. Each principal and director gave an update on staffing for the upcoming school year. At this point, a motion was made by Mrs. cool, seconded by Mr. Caswell, to move into executive session at 7:1 p.m. to discuss a personnel issue. The Committee will return to open session upon completion of the executive session. The special meeting reconvened at 7: p.m. The Committee agreed upon the following reprised upcoming meeting slates: July 25, 2000 - regular meeting August 3, 2000 - School Committee "Retreat" August 23, 2000 - regular meeting *e September 13, 2000 - regular meeting October 11, 2000 - regular meeting Business Administrator Mr. McCown outlined his memo regarding the current status o F00 funds:
