VOTE: Unanimous Discussion n followed regarding the FY01 school budget totaling $14,075,000. The School C mmitt 's finance sub-committee suggested the following reductions be made: Transportation - $ 1007000 Special education 902000 Non-returning teachers - 157000 Natural gas - 10,000 Equipment repair - 202000 4ol, Grant monies 72000 Language Arts revision - 20,000 Superintendent Office computers - 4,000 Special education equipment - 27000 Library books 11,000 Renovation of office space - 10}053 TOTAL 289;053 After much discussion on the above-listed item reductions, Mrs. Lynch suggested reinstating the 11,000 for library books and add that figure to the natural gas figure. At this point, Mrs. Lopez excused herself from the meeting. Motion made by Mrs. Lynch, seconded by Mr. Caswell, to approve the above list including Mrs. Lyneb's suggestions as noted, VOTE: In favor- Mrs. Mills, Mrs. Cook, Mr. Caswell, Mrs. Lynch; absent- Mrs. Lopez.
