Vinyl siding high school) Mr. McGon noted the school van will be purchased a soon as possible through the state contract. 7.4 FY2001 Budget Review - Mr. McCown explained the School Department's accounting system is currently "in- between systems" at this point and as a result, some of the output is "a little slow." Computer training for the new system was held last geek arra accounts payable and purchase order training will be held next creek. The FY01 budget reflects the changes made at the budget meeting held onJune 29th. Mr. McCown suggested making budget transfers on a monthly basis. The F oo end-of-year budget will be generated as soon as possible. Mrs. Lynch reminded Mr. Mc o rn that the School Committee begins to met monthly to discuss only the budget. Mr. Fluery said these dates will be set in conjunction with the "Master Calendar" at the August 8th School Committee retreat, 7.5 Name for Quashnet Schools - As a result of the elementary reorganization, informal discussion has been held to possibly change the name of the Quashnet School. Mr. Fluery recommended keeping the name of " u shnet School." Mr. Tippo acted the lengthy amount of time to change the Department of Education takes to change school's name as was the case when the Middle School changed to Quashnet River and Quashnet Malley. H recommended keeping the current name of " uashnet School." Motion made by Mrs. Cook, seconded by Mrs. Lopez, to rename the Quashnet School. Discussion ion followed regarding holding a public forum to allow townspeople an opportunity to have an input for a name change. After this discussion, Mrs. Cook withdrew
