There <br /> were 12 total suspensions with 10 students serving <br /> suspensions. (Two students were previously <br /> suspended for another offense.) <br /> Discussion followed regarding a computer <br /> technician to assist the network administrator. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Caswell, seconded by Mrs. <br /> Cook, to create a computer technician position <br /> with an annual salary of$30,000. <br /> D'O'TE: Unanimous <br /> Also, Mr. Fluery suggested photocopiers b <br /> obtained on a lease option which would becost- <br /> effective for the school system. <br /> LX. SpecificaUy Assigned/ 9.1 Memorial Garden (Update) - Mr. Brown said h <br /> Unfinished Business met with Mr. Cook. The plan has not leen <br /> completed, however, it would be in our best <br /> interest to go outside of our landscaper and have <br /> another designer come in. Mr. Brown suggested <br /> outsourcing the landscape drawing at this time. <br /> Costs are to be obtained. <br /> Mr. Fluery thanked the principals and directors for <br /> their first monthly report that was included in the <br /> packet. Also, he said September was a good month <br /> with reorganization and the movo ofthe <br /> superintendent"s office. <br /> Mrs. Lynch acknowledged correspondence received <br /> from the Department of Education regarding the <br /> awarding of funding for the development of <br /> Future Educators of America Club. Thanks to the <br /> efforts of Michael Fordc, this grant will receive <br /> $1,200.00 <br /> Mr. Fluery mentioned the Plato software program <br /> at the high school. <br /> Also, Mr. Fluery noted the Cape Symphony <br /> Orchestra Youth Concert is slated for March 8, <br /> 2001 at 10:00 p.m. in the Mashpec High School <br /> auditorium. <br />
