One would be to allow current and former <br /> School Committee members be allowed to hand out <br /> diplomas to their own children. The second would <br /> be to have lifetime passes to all sports given to <br /> School committee members. This item was <br /> referred to the high school sub-committee. <br /> X1. Committee Reports er 11.1 Sub-Committee Re-ports <br /> 11.1.1 Negotiations - Mr. Fluery said a meeting <br /> has been scheduled for January 18, 2001 <br /> to discuss unresolved matters, however., <br /> Mrs. Mills and Mrs. Lynch will both be <br /> unable to attend. <br /> 11.1.2 High School - Mrs. Cooly said the Memorial <br /> Garden was discussed earlier in the <br /> meeting as was the Plato program at the <br /> high school. <br /> 11.1.3 Elementary School - Coombs School <br /> Principal Louise Doyle announced that the <br /> willo bend Children's Charity has given <br /> charitable gift of $10,000 toward the <br /> Coombs School playground. Also, she said <br /> • there is a local company who will b <br /> erecting the playground free of charge. <br /> 11.1.4 Curriculum - Mrs. Cooly said meetings need <br /> to be established with the world Language <br /> and Math curriculum committees. <br /> 11.2 External Re-ports <br /> 11.2.1 Ca-pe cod collaborative - Mr. Caswell <br /> attended the ollaborative's Board of <br /> Directors'Visitation Day on October 4th. He <br /> visited Cape schools that have Collaborative <br /> classrooms. The overriding issue is <br /> classroom space for the collaborative. <br /> 1.1..2.2 Leisure Services- Mrs. Lopez said there has <br /> been no meeting. <br />
