Motion made by Mrs. Lynch, seconded by Mrs. Cool, to award the bid to First Student. f VOTE: Unanimous X. New Business 10.1 Policies - Mrs. Mills asked to have this item Placed on the agenda regarding high school policies. One would be to allow current and former School Committee members be allowed to hand out diplomas to their own children. The second would be to have lifetime passes to all sports given to School committee members. This item was referred to the high school sub-committee. X1. Committee Reports er 11.1 Sub-Committee Re-ports 11.1.1 Negotiations - Mr. Fluery said a meeting has been scheduled for January 18, 2001 to discuss unresolved matters, however., Mrs. Mills and Mrs. Lynch will both be unable to attend. 11.1.2 High School - Mrs. Cooly said the Memorial Garden was discussed earlier in the meeting as was the Plato program at the high school. 11.1.3 Elementary School - Coombs School Principal Louise Doyle announced that the willo bend Children's Charity has given charitable gift of $10,000 toward the Coombs School playground. Also, she said • there is a local company who will b erecting the playground free of charge. 11.1.4 Curriculum - Mrs. Cooly said meetings need to be established with the world Language and Math curriculum committees. 11.2 External Re-ports 11.2.1 Ca-pe cod collaborative - Mr. Caswell attended the ollaborative's Board of Directors'Visitation Day on October 4th. He visited Cape schools that have Collaborative classrooms. The overriding issue is classroom space for the collaborative. 1.1..2.2 Leisure Services- Mrs. Lopez said there has been no meeting.
