MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE - REGULAR MEETING -DECEMBER 6, 2000 PAGE <br /> At the Quashnet School, principal Robert Tippo is <br /> requesting five new staff members which includes a Grade <br /> teacher and special education teacher. <br /> At the Coombs School, principal Louise Doyle, in lieu of <br /> hiring an assistant principal, is suggesting increasing the <br /> time for the English/Language Arts and Math <br /> Coordinators. <br /> It was decided to schedule a budget meeting for Monday, <br /> December 1 , 2000 at 6:30 in the Quashnet Library. <br /> Also, the January regular meeting is slated for <br /> Wednesday, January 3, 2001 with a budget meeting <br /> tentatively set for Thursday, January 4. 2001 at 6:30 <br /> p.m. <br /> 10.2 Admission Poli y - School Activities - To be voted upon at <br /> the January meeting. <br /> Mrs. Mills called for a break in the meeting at 10:1p.m. <br /> The meeting reconvened at 10:25 p.m. <br /> XI. Committee 11.1 Sub-Committee Reports <br /> Reports <br /> 11.1.1 Negotiations - Discussed earlier in executive <br /> session. <br /> 11.1.2 High School -- Mr. Cook reported that information <br /> regarding the band uniforms was included in the <br /> packet. <br /> 11.1.3 ElementaLy School - Mrs. Lynch said there has <br /> been no meeting. <br /> 11.1.4 Curriculum - Mrs. Cook said the Math and World <br /> Language curriculums are on--going. <br /> 11.1.5 Finance - This topic was discussed earlier in the <br /> meeting. <br /> 11.1.5.1 School Facilities-The informational <br /> materials was included in the packet. <br /> 11.2 External Re <br /> 11.2.1 Cape Cod Collaborative - Mr. Caswell said he had <br /> no report this evening. <br /> 11.2.2 Leisure Services - Mrs. Lopez informed the <br /> Committee that due to two resignation as School <br /> Committee liaisons to the Leisure Services Advisory <br /> Committee, Richard Martini volunteered to fill one <br /> of those vacancies. <br />
