MA S HPEE SCHOOL COM M ITTEE—REGULA R ME TING—APRIL 4.,2001 PAGE 8.14 "Delayed Opening and Early losiU" Policy EBCE — Due to the elementary reorganization that tool place this year,this policy was changed to conform to the grade level and tunes of dismissal. This policy will he voted upon at the May meeting. 8.15 School Calendar -- 2001-2002 School Year — Discussion followed on the 2001-2002 school year calendar. It was decided to make changes to coincide with the unit A contract. Mr. Fluery will discuss these changes with Union 'resident Kathy Smola. To be'voted upon at the May meeting. Ix. Speeffically Assigned/ 9.1 Copy Machines—Mr. Mc own updated theCom- Unfinished Business m ittee regarding the copy machine company presentations. However, he stated there are two remaining presentations to be made. .2 Athletics — Teams OLganization — Discussed earlier in the meeting. X. New Business There was nothing discussed under"New Business.' X1. Committee Reports 11.1 Sub-Committee Report 11.1.1 Negotiations — firs. Lynch said this issue was discussed earlier in executive session. 11.1.2 High School—Mrs.Cook said the landscape architect for the Memorial Carden is still an ongoing issue. 11.1.3 Elementary School -- Mrs. Lynch said there was a meeting held this morning which Coombs School reports and the Quashnet School grounds were discussed. 11.1.4 Curriculum — Mrs. Cook said these were discussed and voted upon earlier in the meeting. 11.2 External Reports 11.2.1 Cape Cod Collaborative — Mr. Caswell said he had no report this evening, however, Mr. Fluery outlined the possibility of having modular classrooms placed n school grounds. Mr.Fluery will investigate. 11.2.2 Leisure Services — The issue regarding the Leisure Services contract was discussed earlier in the meeting.
