MA HPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING MAY 11 2001 Minutes Attendees; Chairperson Janice Mills, Theresa Cook, 1onnaJean Lopez,Ben Caswell,and Kathleen Lynch. Also in attendance were Superintendent of Schools Sherwood Fluery and Business Administrator Russ McCown. I. Call Meeting Mrs. Mills called the regular meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. in the Quashnet School to order Library. II. Executive Session Motion made by liars. Lopez,seconded by Mr. Caswell,to move into executive session at 6:41 p.m. for the purpose of negotiations. Roll Call Vote: In favor—Mrs. Mills',Mrs.Cook, Mrs. Lopez, Mr.Caswell, and Mrs. Lynch;opposed—none. The regular meeting reconvened at 7:15 p.m. Mr. Fluery introduced Mr. Michael Tarlow,the Mashpee Public Schools' new Business Administrator,who was in the audience. Ill. Approval of Minutes 3.1 Special Meeting FYI 2 Budget)--February 1,2001—Motion made by Mr. Caswell, seconded by Mrs. Cook, to approve the minutes of the February 1, 2001 special meeting. VOTE: Unanimous .2 Special Meeting �- February-202- 1 — Motion made by Mr. Caswell, seconded by Mrs. Lopez, to approve the minutes of the special meeting held on February 20,2001. VOTE: Unanimous 3.3 Executive Session March 20, 2001 — Motion made by Mrs. Cook, seconded by Mr. Caswell, to approve the minutes of the executive session held on March 20,2001. VOTE: In favor — Mrs. Mills, Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Lopez, and Mr. Caswell; abstained—Mrs. Lynch. 3.4 Special Meeting (FY02 Budget) — March 20, 2001 — Motion made by Mr. Caswell, seconded by Mrs. Cook, to approve the minutes of the special meeting held on March 2 ,2001. VOTE: In favor - Mrs. Mills, Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Lopez, and Mr. Caswell; abstained—Mrs. Lynch. 3.5 Regular ular Meetin —April 4, 2001 — Motion made by Mrs. Cook, seconded by Mr. Caswell, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on April 4, 2001. VOTE: In favor—Mrs.Cook,Mr. Caswell, and Mrs. Lynch;abstained—Mrs. Mills and Mrs. Lopez.
