MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING—MAY 1,2001 PAGE 3 � <br /> At this point in the meeting, Mrs. Mills asked if the Grades 1 and 2 Deport <br /> Card Revision could be discussed. This Committee agrd. <br /> 8.11 Grades 1 and 2 Deport Card Revision --- Members of this committee <br /> who attended tonight's meeting were CoombsSchool- Guidance Counselor <br /> Lois Hirshberg, Suzanne Cogswell, Linda Kot, Christie lidely. Other <br /> members who were unable to attend include Coombs School Principal Louise <br /> Doyle, Array Cullum, Kathy Penney, and Donna Zeger. The report card <br /> committee Mated they were unanimously in favor of a new report card that is <br /> simpler, more direct and understandable. <br /> Mrs. Doyle will meet with Mr. Fluery to discuss the Grade i and 2 Report <br /> Card revision with at meeting to follow with the Teachers' Association. <br /> This will be voted on at the June regular meeting. <br /> VIII. Report of the Superintendent 8.1 Personnel — Mr. Flu ry updated the Committee on the following <br /> personnel issues: <br /> �hnet School: <br /> Jane Emery- .55 Health Clerical Assistant <br /> Cheryl Maclntire—Yearbook Advisor <br /> Melvin Harper—Custodial, transfer from high school <br /> High School: <br /> Karen Cofran—Health Clerical Assistant <br /> Michael J. Frde—Director, Summer Institute <br /> Resrgnatons: <br /> Judith Fratus—High School Teacher Assistant <br /> Cheryl Holmes—High School Teacher Assistant <br /> .2 Food Service Update — Mr. McGown reported Chartwells has <br /> improved their counts from previous standings, however, they <br /> anticipate an overall loss for the year. They projected ars approximate <br /> $7,000 loss as opposed to the $15,000-$16,000 that was originally <br /> quoted. Estimated loss will be approximately$21,000 <br /> .3 Facilities Report — lir. Cook reported the following in his monthly <br /> report for May; <br /> Coombs School: <br /> I. New playground excavation work completed by Gary Tavares. <br /> 2. Big Toys playground repaired and resurfaced as recommended b <br /> manufacturer's annual inspection. <br /> . Meeting with V.H.B. on May 1 , 2001 to select one or two layouts <br /> for the parking lot project from several concepts. <br />
